This course covers how to administer botulinum toxin type A to the platysmal bands. The targeted areas include the neck, eyebrows, and the mouth, as well as the palms, soles and underarms. As well as targeting facial wrinkles, this treatment also helps with hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

In order to learn how to administer these injections, you will also learn about the anatomy and physiology of the skin, focusing on the areas associated with advanced botulinum toxin treatments. It is also necessary to have a foundation botulinum toxin qualification and at least six months of experience.
